I've never particularly liked Szczesny as a keeper and today he proved why I'm justified in feeling that way.
'Rash' seems to be his middle name. I keep thinking back to Euro 2012 when he caused Greece's first goal and then got sent off giving away a penalty that Tyton had to save.
Sure, it was two years ago, but that's the point. Szczesny has the same problem as Wilshere - he was a very good young player but hasn't developed from that level and is living on borrowed time.
I will be happy to see Ospina get some game time, or to see another keeper arrive in January. Wenger has proven before that he isn't afraid to drop Szczesny - hopefully that hasn't changed.
Szczesny is s##t

None of the back up are ever good enough. I think Szcz knows even if he's dropped he'll get his place back in a few games. He's become to complacent I think. Wenger needs to buy a proper keeper and give Szcz a real run for his money. If Szcz contines to be crap and a new keeper performs better, drop him for a season as number 2 or just sell him.

I think the defence let him down today and put him under more pressure.
For the first goal Kos was beaten on the inside and Szcz had no choice other than to come out and close the ball down. It was clever play to pull him so wide and as Kos had to get back into position he was in the wrong place. Mert should have dropped back nearer the line to cover for the absent keeper. Kos being beaten so easily and Mert not getting back were bigger errors than Szcz imo.
For the second, I feel Szcz tried to clear it and was unlucky were it landed.
But having said that hes not developing as hoped and is not good enough to be our first choice. I preferred Martinez in his few games.

I don't think he is THAT bad, we know him on a decent day, he is eccentric and he just lacks concentrtion , he thinks he's Manuel Nuer* (surely spelt that wrong)

But I thought he's better than De Gea?

Chesney should have stayed on his near post. Even Wenger admitted to that after the game.
Yes we do have a problem with Mertesacker. Kos always covers for him and he doesn't cover for anyone else.
However in this instance the main culprit after Kos's mistake and Debuchy not clearing immediately were entirely down to Chesney's poor decision making. Frankly pub league.

He was not totally at fault according to me.
The first goal, it was our No. 6 that was easily beaten bse he is not march fit. The keeper's problem was to think Merteseker was going to clear the ball and he missed it.
Second goal i have to look at it again but it shows lots of communication problems among the back 4. This was supposed to be our best defensive pairing
