I'd say so, despite recent lacklustre performances he's been the only individual who's been able to inspire the team with a goal or a run out of nothing. When we're good yes everyone can contribute but when we struggle it is mainly Hazard (or a Terry header) that we look for to get us back into a game. We've never really been reliant on one player truely and we've had some great players..is it too early to say we're doing that with Hazard?

There's a case to be made about that since Mourinho came in for sure, but given his talent it's only natural. He's a clear cut above players like Oscar, Willian & Schurrie in terms of sparking our game to life in a matter of seconds. If he was playing for Spurs or Liverpool he'd be the PL's hottest commodity right now.
To be honest I'm quite content with the level he's playing at right now. If he reaches his true potential we won't be the ones reaping the rewards on the pitch. The type of player he is all pace and tricks, with a bit of a touch up has Real Madrid written all over him.

No, Fabregas is creating for a start.

Yes - one our best, if not the best, attacking outlet. Even when he doesn't score or assist, he is always taking players on and causing trouble - his existence on the pitch occupies 2-3 players from the get go.

I really thought Oscar would be better by now. He seems fairly toothless most of the time.

I thought relying on your best players was what you should do.
Do Barca rely on Messi?
Real on Rinaldo?
Take away their goals and weould they be so successful?
The idea is for top players to be relied on surely.

We need to get Koke

But I doubt we will cause Simeone is probably off this summer and I have a feeling he'll take him with him wherever he goes

Is relying on one individual a positive? Every team has a best player, but when you're looking at one player to inspire the team and create goals that sets a risky precedent, obvious consequences that will show their face when they are injured, suspended and even leave. We've seen the impacts that Suarez and Bale leaving has had on clubs that rely on them. We are maybe not on that same reliance with Hazard..yet, but as this season goes on we have simply been looking at him more and more to create openings, create goals, / score them.
Yes Barcelona and Madrid rely on Messi and Ronaldo, but then again they are the two best players in the world. Bayern don't rely on anyone. Our teams in 04-06 and 10/11 did not have a standout individual either. Might be unfounded, but I do think reliance on Hazard leaves us vulnerable. (as in when he's not available/leaves)
