1 loss in 15 with these two starting as our centre back partnership. Fantastic stat and a real understanding slowly developing with them which goes to prove they are by far our best centre back partnership. I do still think Fazio has an error in him and he gives the ball away in dangerous areas at times but he has certainly changed my opinion of him the last month or so with some solid performances. He wins everything in the air which you can say is easy for his size but he still is a major asset for us now in terms of much needed height in that defence. I still think a centre back is needed as i really don't trust Chirichis or Kaboul to come in and provide cover as both are awful if you ask me but happy that we have a solid enough centre back partnership for the time being.

Both have been very good. Verts has been looking more like the cb we signed originally.
Fazio has improved massively. Coming to the premier league as a centre back is very tough. Vidic looked awful initially.
These two are building a good partnership and long may it continue.

All players should be rated on wins. Which is why Zizou is one of the greatest of all time, despite poor 'goals scored/assisted' statistics.

Defenders should be rated on goals against not wins - and quite frankly our goals against stat is dire!!
Fazio is an absolute donkey.

Should have known that twãt would come out with some sort of nonsense. So on that basis Dani Alves is twice as good as Zabaleta because Barca have conceded 7 league goals compared to City's 19? You fool

Ledley's,
So on that basis Dani Alves is twice as good as Zabaleta because Barca have conceded 7 league goals compared to City's 19?
==================
What the fúck has Zabaleta and Alves got to do with the price fish? .
My comment is based on the fact that Fazio seems to make a blatant individual error that directly costs us a goal in nearly every game he plays.
Results have gone well recently but for the fans who actually watch the game(s) and / or have a football brain (Ledley’s excluded from both scenarios, obviously ) will tell you that our defending hasn’t actually been very good.
Leicester's goal = Fazio's fault. Bog standard defending.
The first half against Man Utd could have been 4 or 5 nil (thanks to Lloris it wasn’t) and whilst 5-3 is a good end result (and I’m still buzzing from that game ), conceding 3 goals at home isn’t evidence of good defending – Chelsea’s 3rd in particular.
But then I wouldn’t expect a with the brain power of a starfish to consider any of these things.
Ledley’s thought process is as follows:
Outcome of game: Spurs win or respectable draw
= good performance by everyone .

I have more brainpower than a starfish and I could point to a lot of goals conceeded that were not Fazios fault.
As I said he might not be the best in the world but he is our best option at the moment and no more a liability than any of the others

I love the fact your support of Fazio is that you can point out certain goals that were not down to his blatant individual errors. It’s not much of a compliment when you think about it.

What makes you think I am supporting Fazio?
I just happen to think he is our best option atm. I never said he was a great option just the best one that we have at the moment
