I watched an interview with Ian Rush today and his view was that Stevie G was a bigger legend than King Kenny due to the circumstances in which Stevie G played at Liverpool i.e lesser quality players around him
They were both excellent in different era's IMO
Thoughts ?
King Kenny v Gerrard

Dalglish was the best player I've seen wear the red shirt.
Souness was the best midfielder.
Gerrard is in my top 5. Along with Barnes, Hansen and Rush.

I count SIX there PPD
Simply "top 6" is sufficient.

Legendary status is one for the 'Pool fans to judge IMO, CG.
In terms of ability though, Savage said that Gerrard was the best M/F Liverpool have ever had, and the 2nd best player behind King Kenny.
Perosnally, I don't think Gerrard is even the best midfielder the Reds have had, I think that was Souness.

Bit of a sad, bitter post tbh.
And, don't think your minority view is that of all LFC fans
