What a waste of licence payers money (IMHO)

Did anybody really miss him?

I cant believe someone went out and actually spoke with this sanctimonious idiot and begged him to do interviews for them again.

Sir Fungus has gagged the BBC and managed to get his views to the nation across, allbeit in a rather drunk manner. And he and his son are bent. If you need a player, it can be arranged via Sir Fungus, as cleaner than clean Bryan Robson will tell you.

BBC just published this:

Ferguson, 69, said: "The FA may realise who has produced more players for their country than any club in the world.

"Maybe they will realise how important we are to England instead of treating us like s-***."

Utd produce, or rather buy in, players for themselves. Sir Fungus has withdrawn and persuaded players not to represent their country, e.g. Scholes on so many occasions it is untrue. He hates the England team and has done everything he can to undermine it. This is just more mind games to get preferential treatment, not that they don't already with time on the clock and decisions. Red card for Utd at OT anyone; I doubt it!

There's a bigger issue; do we really want the manager of a club forced to face the camera after each PL game to answer inane questions from a brain-dead interviewer? The problem wouldn't have arisen if the club could choose who they put forward, e.g. assistant manager, as MU in fact did with Phelan.

It would also have helped us last season. Houllier doesn't interview well in front of camera, and that didn't help; GM would have been a better choice.
