I'm in no way sticking up for him, so you've a daughter and you quite rightly you feel very strongly about what he's done.

However his case is going to be reviewed and maybe overturned, my question to you is will you feel different about him if it is overturned?

So he's gone from having drunken séx with a girl in a hotel room!

To being a rapist because she was drunk and he should have known better despite the fact that he was also intoxicated!

To you going on about "if she was underage"



First of all she claimed to have no recollection of anything that happened after leaving a night club. She was tested the next morning and an expert concluded that the level of alcohol in her blood should have in no way affected her memory and that apart from some recreational drugs (cocaine and weed that she claimed she had taken on a previous occasion) no other drugs where found in her system that would affect her memory.

Upon meeting Evans and his friend in a takeaway and asking to go with the friend she displayed different actions which prove she was not in a drunken state. Mainly by leaving food and her hand bag outside the hotel, walking in and then remembering them and returning to get them.

Both Evans and his friend stated she agreed to have séx (both oral and normal) with Evans upon him entering the hotel room.

I really don't see how it got to court to be honest and think if he hadn't been a footballer wouldn't have been given the time of day!

Rape is a horrible crime and can affect people for the rest of they're lives but I think someone stalking, attacking, holding them down against they're will and raping them is a lot different to 2 drunken men tag teaming a drunken, drug taking girl who regrets it the next morning or even worse. A girl who is out to gain money from a well of local celeb footballer.

However his case is going to be reviewed and maybe overturned, my question to you is will you feel different about him if it is overturned?

There will be a lot of people with egg on their faces if this was the case.

And if it ever does happen, there are going to be some massive law suits.

If its overturned there will be a fairly meaty lawsuit heading somebodies way as well I'd imagine.
