Was speaking to a colleague today. Dundee fan!!!!! Go figure. But if either of our two managers were "poached" by a bigger club does anyone have any idea who would take over? I would hope another young upcoming manager that gives youth a chance but cannot think of any.

I agree with Ivan, I don't think JMac will be going anywhere soon. I actually think he is really enjoying being at United.
I heard that him and ST went to watch the new signing from Arbroath together, which bodes well He doesn't strike me as the greedy type, more the type to finish a job.
McInnes on the other hand............

I wouldn't be surprised to see Aberdeen looking for a new manager by the end of the season.
I also wouldn't be surprised to see McInnes in the Rangers dugout next season if they get promoted.

To be honest, it wouldn't break my heart if Jackie left.
I'm not saying I want him to go, far from it, but at the same time he's got plenty of flaws too.
If he was to head off to an English Championship side then I'd wish him good luck and trust the Chairman to find the right man to replace him.

Well if Jackie does get poached, then Hartley will be moving on too. Not as if he has any issue in crossing a city divide.
Hartley was my first pick to replace Houston but I'm certainly not disappointed with McNamara. As Ivan points out, he's flawed, but he does try to play good football & generally picks the right team.

I like JMac, he does make some mistakes. But when we play well, we're excellent to watch. Others will see a lot more of his teams playing than me so its hard to judge.
I don't think I'd like him to go yet, you get the feeling we're close to being the perfect team. Excellent in spells both this season and last, just one perfect signing and I feel we'd be unstoppable......
...........but then I stuck up for Houstie so what would I know really................

Jackie certainly deserves credit for trying to play attacking entertaining football.
And when we're on song we generally win.
The problem I have with Jackie is that he seems unable to change things when we're not playing well.
Last years cup final being a good example
For me that's the sign of a good manager.
Doubt if he'll be going anywhere soon but can't see us winning anything with him in charge.
I'd like to see something approaching a settled team. I don't get his tinkering with the team for every game.

Not so sure shed boy, I can see us winning a cup under JMac.
