A few papers this morning saying West Brom are offering us Berahino in exchange for Townsend and Lennon, very rare this sort of swap deal usually happends but what are you thoughts on this if it were to come off?

Spurs are being offered striker Saido Berahino in exchange for Andros Townsend and Aaron Lennon.
New West Brom boss Tony Pulis is willing to cash in on top scorer Berahino to fund an overhaul of his squad.
He wants two new wingers to provide pace and power down either flank and sees the Spurs pair as the answer.
Although Berahino is Albion’s top scorer this term with 13 goals and has been called up by England they have put new contract talks on hold.
The club have been frustrated by his attitude and time-keeping, and yesterday he was charged with drink-driving on the M6 in October, and will appear in court on January 19.
Liverpool are also interested in one of English football’s hottest talents who West Brom rate at £20 million.
Pulis has been given full control of transfers at West Brom and is hoping to tempt Spurs into parting with England internationals Townsend, 23, and Lennon, 27, to give his unbalanced squad a huge injection of pace.
West Brom are willing to pay the pair, who are no longer first choice starters at Spurs, around £50,000-a-week, in line with their current salaries.
Now Pulis must convince Tottenham chairman Daniel Levy to do business. Levy is likely to ask for cash in addition to Berahino but Albion only want a straight swap.
MirrorSport understands Pulis is also after a new holding midfielder and a targetman to play upfront, with Stoke’s Peter Crouch a possibility.

that deal values berahino way too high.
townsend is young English attacking establish PL with England caps and goals... his market worth is 15m probably
lennon is establish pl, in his 'prime', English, England caps to his name - 8-10 mill.
that values berahino around 25 mill which is madness

Berahino and £10m for either and I'd deal, as long as it was ok'd by Poch.

I call bullshīt. What has Berahino shown consistently over the last 18 months as evidence that he's clearly superior to what we've already got? People are too quick to jump all over a purple patch of 2-3 months and hype them up to something they're not. We need to stop filling up our squad with 'squad' players - any new players coming in should be better than what we've got unless we've got real quality in that position already.

I would rather keep Townsend and Lennon, Berahino is massively over rated and worth around £10m max

You could say the same about Kane.
Both a similar age. Both broke through last season and are making strides this season. Both great records for Eng U21. Both scored about the same number of goals in 2 seasons.
Only difference is that Kane is playing for the better team.
We need that pace option up front, but i think it depends on whether the lad can also do a job from wide, like a Remy, or if he is purely a pace merchant who can finish. If the latter then he would be a good option to have but not necessarily first choice which means that £15m would be a very full valuation for a young player.
He is also linked with Liverpool who have Sturridge, Borini, Lambert, Balotelli. DO they really need another, even if Borini moved on?

Well if we're going to compare with Ade and Soldado, then goals for one thing. Neither of those 2 have been prolific this season. Berahino has 13 goals in 24, and not to mention he has only played the full 90 minutes in 2 of his last 7.
He secondly has age on his side.

We should keep Townsend.
But Lennon can go. And ADE.
I'd give Soldado. this season to get on track.
