When I look at the Kane of last year and his Norwich days he looked like a tall skinny weakling but the reason I think we are starting to see what he is capable of is because he has really bulked out, he looks like a man now rather than a boy and a proper athlete. Similar to the change Bale has made in his final season with us. Kane just looks more powerful and seems to have added pace to his game which I didn't really think he had.
Anyway my point is you cannot really tell how good a player is going to be until the are fully grown, I remember Rio Ferdinand at West Ham as a boy and he looked like this skinny gangly boy with a big head that his neck could hardly support, he fills out and is then one of the best in the world. So I am glad we persisted with Kane, looks like a proper footballer now.

I'd go with that Edgar. I mentioned in another thread the other day I overheard 2 Pool supporters, not kids, discussing the benefit of dropping into Europa. I had to laugh when one said Pool could easily win it and guarantee CL rather than have to go down the usual route of Top 4! I had to admire their spirit...

Sorry guys but his form won't last. Similar scenario to Ramsey last season compared to this.

great article btw OP.
I think the same applies to Tom Carroll, widely written off but he plays with his head up and a confidence beyond his years.
I only hope Ramsay departing as youth coach doesn't stem the flow of talent from our academy.
That said, I don't think anyone really saw how good Kane would be for the first team and much credit must go to him for sticking by it and improving to the point where he's earned his place rather than take the easy option of dropping down the leagues.
Can't remember being more proud of our club or a home grown talent since Ledley.
