Latest offer of 20 million to be rejected.

Guys strong rumours Newcastle will be sold for 250 million.

Mike Ashley has Rangers in his grips.

This is war plain to see.

Been happening anway to an extent

Monopoly is in play, and for me there is deja vu. Like the Paul Murray etc came in too low or to late and ended up with Whyte and green, it looks all nasty now from ashley because of his small shareholding but who knows if he has long term ambitions that include a relationship with the fans.

What, like the relationship he has with the Newcastle fans? You lost your case when you used the phrase " who knows ?" !!

Not lost any case.

Rangers and Newcastle are different cases.

aye, whatever !

even if Newcastle have a buyer there is surely 0 chance of that deal being done in time for Ashley to increase his stake.

The money to be made out of rangers is tiny compared to the money he can make from an EPL club.

when you are talking about values of 250 million. if he could improve the valuation by 10%, it would dwarf any profits to be made from rangers.

Honestly, i have no idea what he wants with Rangers until he see a long term shift in the value of the EPL

Rangers and Scottish football has the potential. The product can only improve.

For player and manager development it's a great place to play.

It needs funding, vision and people that believe in it.

The epl is over the top. Paying 50k per week or 20 million for someone doesn't mean to say hes good.

It's been marketed well but the rest of the UK has been left behind and the higher wages in England have resulted in destroying Scottish football.

Ask yourself, unless you support the top three clubs do the rest get value for money? ???

Why wouldn't ashley want to be associated with a club that plays in Europe than rather throw millions at mid table cannon fodder every year?

Newcastle are like many other clubs, epl survival means more to them than being in Europe. Different footballing culture to Scotland.

Mike Ashley would appear to have ruined Newcastle. What could he have in store for Rangers?
