"More Like Moyes" Robbie Savage

http://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/0/football/30735905

Not such a bad read from Robbie Savage, some good points about the centrebacks.

I hope not, percentage football and setting out to win a point is not my idea of how football should be playd

Yeah that's the way to go, give up percentage football and 1-0 wins for pass sideways, pass backwards, pass anywhere but forwards that we see now. Let's step back and look through open eyes for a second. The insistence on this style of football from Roberto has the Team and players scared out of their wits to lose possession hence opposition Teams know all they have to do is press high and we cannot get out of our own half. Against West Ham, finally the players took control themselves and were more direct resulting in the equaliser, that was not Roberto that was the players.

Moyes always concentrated on a solid defence first, Martinez has forgotten about them and just wants midfielders. We AT LEAST need competition for the back 3/4 if nothing else

THB.

We have Garbutt, Stones and Browning all coming through. I believe Sam Byram at Leeds at the right price would be the best option for competition at RB/RWB/RM.

The balance is between bringing in the right experience without stopping Stones/Browning developing

I watched Browning in and under 21's on sky he was crap.

Arouna but you said you do not like winning 1-0 and protecting that lead. Then you want Stones and Garbutt's development to be protected. Roberto is taking that talent and ignoring it. The only one missing from the side against City may be McArthy, City are an attacking side, do I really need to say more.

Was that for Everton or England?

Did he play RB or CB? I guess you have your opinion on him, for me he is a quick ball playing CB.

Martinez has failed, back to Moyesball
