Well after more then two years trying, I finally got signed up for Rovers Player. My Brazilian credit cards wouldn't work, but although still in Brazil, I changed my company for a US based company and opened a US account and was able to get signed up for paypal, and hey presto my payment via paypal worked, so just spent all morning watching all the seasons games highlight.

Sams gone. Looks like he's signing for Preston.
Season tickets for south stand will be unreserved seating next season to help ""create the old Belle Vue atmosphere.
DickOff says he's got another keeper lined up.
Thoughts.

I just posted my thoughts on Sam, on the thread posted by Roverian Zigger.
As for the South Stand thing, a a season ticket holder in there i am unhappy about this.
I was going to renew my ticket this week for next season and rang the club about this not being able to reserve my seat.
They said someone would call me back but they didnt.

There's a lot of fans thinking about not renewing there tickets because of the sit anywhere policy.
There's two ways to look at it, if you get all the "singing fans" in one area they might create the atmosphere that's been missing for most of the games
Secondly, I'd be very pi55ed off if I had the same seat for all these years and had to take pot luck whether or not I got in same seat.

Can you see the lads who sit in the top corner near the away end moving to the south stand just because they are allowed to sit anywhere they want?
I can't see for one minute why making it a sit anywhere you like stand will encourage more singing.
What we really need in there is another drummer or someone with a trumpet to start the songs off.
Since the lad with the drum stopped going ( i was told he had gone to University) it seems to have gone a bit flat.
There is always the cheer when a goal goes in but the songs just don't keep coming.
Even the players don't have songs for them now, i think there are only four who do.
I think the club will aggravate more fans than they please with this policy.

Totally agree Hound, another shot in the foot. Just like the vote for next years shirt, yet more money for the fans to fork out. Everyone I've talked to are saying its getting worse, from changing one shirt every other year to changing all three every season.

On the subject of the drummer, I was informed he wasn't aloud to bring it in any more due to complaints. So stopped coming. That was from one of the lads who used to come with him.

Well, to be fair no one forces you to buy a shirt.
I have one i bought in 2008.
It looks like they might be forcing me to change seat though.
I will be contacting them again tomorrow to put my point of view over.

Interesting about the drummer.
They allow away end fans to bring them in.
I thought it added to the atmosphere when we had ours.

Re the drummer, there is no big issue. He gets to some home and away games but he’s at a University over the hill.
Someone else simply needs to pick up the sticks and drum and bang it.

Is it true then that he was asked not to bring the drum to home games?
If so that would be quite silly, how can anyone go to a football ground and complain about noise?
