Suso to Milan?

I've just heard on Italian television that Suso may well move to AC Milan. IMHO, we get rid of, or sideline, too many promising young players without giving them a proper chance: Wisdom, Kelly and Robinson spring to mind. I had high hopes for this lad so I'm a bit disappointed (if it's true, of course).

Terrible article.

Kelly got loads of chances, he was just always injured.

Wisdom is on loan, hasn't left the club.

Robinson wasn't very good, a Stephen Warnock at best. Decent career but not a top drawer player.

Most of the young players we move on don't prove us wrong to do so.

Pongolle, Paletta possibly in the last decade have had decent careers.

Most go on to do absolutely nothing.

Suso's a good player, but not good enough to make our starting XI. Coutinho, Lallana, Sterling, and Gerrard are better as a no. 10, and Suso hasn't got the speed or strength to play wide.

Wish him luck

I really like Suso, he has that little bit of swagger when his plays and his passing could really become top drawer.

Being in Italy is ideal for his style and I can see him progressing better with Milan than he would with us.

It will be galling if he makes his next move for a sack of cash.

everyone really wanted him to make it

rodgers gives younger players a chance all the time

hes probably just not good enough.(yet)

He wouldnt get into the team imo, but to lose him for free is annoying, hes worth a few bob atleast

We still get some fee cos he's under 23 under Bosman rule. 2-3m max. I might be wrong.

That's only domestic transfers Kash, we don't get anything/pay anything for bosman moves abroad.

Not much we could have done.

We discussed a new deal but he wanted more than we were willing to offer.

I would rather we overpay to keep first team stars than overpay to keep fringe youngsters.
