Former England batsman Kevin Pietersen claims new one-day captain Eoin Morgan would "love" to have him in the side.
England ended the international career of Pietersen in February 2014.
"I know that the current captain would love to have me in the England team," said Pietersen while co-commentating on the Australian Big Bash Twenty20. "I want to play for England. I honestly believe I am batting as well as I have ever batted at the moment."
I have to be honest, his name on the team sheet does improve the England side, and also gives the opposition something extra to think about. World cup approaching..cant think of a player who would improve the England side as much as him.

lets face it.. If KP really cared he'd keep his gob shut and ask nicely to the ecb to get back into the England team. He knows hes never playing for England again and his ego cant handle it..

KP tried to keep quiet but didn't work, wrote a book but didn't work and now going public in the commentary box will not work either. The management will not allow him back even if Morgan does.

After reading his book, there are a few burnt bridges with the ECB nd he will definatly have to make a staement about "the big cheese", if they are to play together.
The biggest issue is he made the bullying accusations and targeted, mainly Prior, but also dragged Anderson, Swann and Broad into it.
Thats the sticking point for me, some of what he accused broad of doing (i.e. his comment when the team had a talk about bullying and talking to younger members of the team etc..)
If he was not a good player, he would be long gone by now...but you're ;looking at a player who can change a game, is explosive, and would take pressure off other members in the team, both on and off the pitch.
I just dont think Morgan has any say in this..and the ECB have a bee in their bonnet, and are not letting him anywhere near the England set up.
Shame really...he really would add some spice to the team.

England without KP - quarters
England with KP - semi/ final
Big players are needed for big games and occasions. He's that player!!

The commentary with punter was great. U can tell he still want to play for England but deep down he knows its not gonna happen.

I think the documentary was pretty damning for them.
But time to move on. I dont think Amir will come back the same player... But no issues if he does try and find back

For goodness sake, how long are we going to be pestered with that clown Petersen. He will not play for the England team again because he doesn't understand the concept of TEAM! He ought to take up a sport for solo competitors, maybe darts or snooker or even better - catching the javelin
