Looks like Mick McCarthy has finally realised the Fish is allergic to goals....at least he is not coming back to warm our bench.
Poor Chrissy Powell. Hope he doesnt think the Fish will add to his fire power.

The article says Udders are short of goals.
Why would they sign Sammon?

They signed Grant Holt a few weeks back. Chris Powell obviously goes for subtelty and finesse up front.

They scored some nice goals last weekend.....
Maybe he's hoping the Fish will fulfil the "bounce of his head and into the path of a player who can finish" role?
He's seen what Bolton did with Heskey and thought he'd have some of that.

I don't understand the logic behind signing Conor 'PleaseDon'tMakeMeScoreBoss' Sammon when you already have Nakhi Wells and James Vaughn.
Unless they're leaving?

When Sammon used to come on the bloke next to me started humming the Benny Hill Show theme, the one they used to play at the end where the pretty birds chased him.
With Martin saying that Nakhi Wells would be his ideal striking partner, does that mean he doesn't rate Bent?
