Strange one this - all the odds seem to be stacked against the boys from the dark side of the A52 and yet I urge caution. There's nowt so dangerous as a wounded dog.....
The stage has been set, the banter has been flying back and forth....attendances, owners, signings (or lack thereof), January transfer window or just January, golden eggs and being stuck in Germany....
Derby go into this game without the influential Eustace, will Mascarell fill the void? We also have the midfield dilemma about which three to play and is Wardy fit????
Forest, have had a bit of a bad run and can count themselves unlucky with injuries, refereeing decisions, fluky goals against them and several near misses that should have gone in. They will be up for this and I expect a hard game.
So lets go - welcome back Heb, who now has electricity and Ang who had the temerity to go to the match last week and not post....
(Finally on a personal note, a young 17 year lad, George Watson of Littleover School and Derby College passed away very suddenly this week. He was a fanatical Ram - one of ours and I'm not sure whether there will be a tribute today for him. RIP George )
Team news from our co-correspondent in Spain - Mojaca:-

1 shot on target, that was a deflection.
Top of the league. Chant of the day.

Cannot believe people are giving Bent a hard time. He played 20 minutes out of position, give the man a chance!
Saying he's like Sammon is just silly, Bent has 100+ PL goals.

Ramps, just said the same on a different thread. People are so reactive & quick to judge

I saw Bent when he came here with Brighton and was he was equally shy of where the ball was. I will need some convincing that he still has the hunger. Think Bryson has also lost the hunger since his 5 year contract.

Whoops, apologies for the plagiarism Milf!
We've been spoilt for the last year or so, any mistakes are quickly seized upon. We're still scoring amongst the highest in the division, 49 goals including today's. Or we could be watching Sheff Wednesday, who beat Forest 2-0 last week but have scored amongst the lowest total of goals in the division. I know who I'd rather support.
Yes, today hurt badly. But some perspective required.

Taking a long hard look at ourselves, this the poorest match thread for many a year. Nothing to do with the result as we thrive in adversity, but 606 gremlins made posting difficult and internet here useless
We will be back
