We had Blind and Valencia as half of it. You can hardly use that as an example of a proper back 4. We also had a striker say in front of it.

And LVG has done a frankly appalling job so far.

If LVG really likes the 352 and the players are more comfortable with 442 then I would propose the following when everyone is fit

De Gea

Rafael
Smalling
Rojo
Shaw

Carrick
Di Maria
Herrera
Mata

Rooney
Falcao

This can easily then go to 352 with Carrick dropping back and the full backs bombing on with everyone quite comfortable in their positions.

LVG has not done an appalling job so far. that's trash talk. He's done as he is expected, top 4 is the target, top 4 is where we sit. Awful job would be 7thHe's also had to contend with an injury crisis for most of the season. we lost 1 game in 12 and suddenly, it's an awful jobour fans are a joke.

We are in fourth because the teams around us have been poor, not baca use we've been good. We've strung some very lucky wins together and owe most of our points to out goalkeeper.
We've also been about as exciting as extra slow drying paint. After spending over 100million and buying 2 world class attackers.

But other than that yeah he's been fantastic
