1. West Bromwich Albion clearly does not take its name from the council area of Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council. West Bromwich is spelled W-e-s-t B-r-o-m-w-i-c-h while Sandwell is spelled S-a-n-d-w-e-l-l.

2. Sandwell Metropolitan Borough Council comprises the six towns of Oldbury, Rowley Regis, Smethwick, Tipton, Wednesbury, and West Bromwich.

3. As given by The Legacy in his post above, the population of West Bromwich is 75,405 (town) or 136,940 (urban sub-area). These are both census figures.

4. Albion's average PL home attendance so far this season is 24,925. This equates to 33.05% of 75,405 and 18.20% of 136,940 - again as given by The Legacy (see his above).
