Because we wanted to give Lallana some game time to ease him back in to playing after his injury, whilst not overexposing Gerrard who is also coming back form a minor injury.

Also, we played just as well after Gerrard went off and Lallana had a fantastic effort that was only denied by an awesome save

Still played well, but I would have still kept him on. Lallana looked surprised by the pace of the game, great shot though.

I thought our pace dropped once Gerrard went off. Still had lots of chances but we were on 80% possession for about 10 minutes before he went off. Another 5 minutes of that continuous pressure would have been good.
