My, what a bitter one you are. Basically, it sticks in your throat that Can's playing well for us and you're trying desperately to put a dampener on it. I really couldn't give a toss if we were the only team in for him. He's ours and he's playing to a very high level.

What you've got to ask is if we were to sell him now, how many clubs would want him? Plenty, and many of Europes top clubs would be interested.

As for believing the Echo, it's actually far more reliable than any of the national papers when it comes to Liverpool. It's extremely obvious that a newspaper that has close ties to the club are going to get a truer picture of what's actually going on, than the Nationals, who guess half of what they print.

Well to be fair it's acceptable than you think Can isn't 'all that' but does it not come as a surprise to you that you're in a tiny minority?

No, because it's on the Liverpool board and i'm hugely outnumbered but for the record, he's a decent player, not what i'd call one of the best prospects in Europe, but since first making that statement all I've heard is "bitter this" "Moron that" "Januzaj is crap, sterling is wonderful" etc etc
Seems people don't like views to the contrary on here, we all have a tendency to go overboard with our own players, although i'm struggling with our own at the minute. Why can't you just be happy that in your view you have a good player on your hands and not make wild claims?
