Basingstoke (4-2-3-1): Cesar; Carvajal, Marquez, Zouma, Gibbs; Rode, Carvalho; Menez (Boetius 70), Quintero (Vilhena 70), Teixeira; Rossi (Milik 75)
Andover (4-2-3-1): Casillas; Jenkinson, Alderweireld, Fonte, Schennikov; Natcho, Wanyama; Chadli, Kane, Delph (Ronaldinho 65); Berahino (Kaka 75)
MATCH REPORT
This was an interesting match. TBag has strengthened well and now has a dangerous attacking force at his disposal but RAP has a well drilled midfield that can solidify nicely. I did think playing a high line against such a quick and exciting attack was a mistake by RAP though and I thought the best they could expect was a draw, hence the fruity slots.
And a draw it was. Basingstoke looked good going forwards and exploited Andover's high line, Quintero twice putting Rossi through early on; first time Rossi slotted it home and second time he squared it for Teixeira to tap in. 2-0 at half time. Teixeira and Menez floated a bit too much though, leaving their full backs exposed, and shortly after half time Chadli escaped Gibbs and slipped Jenkinson in on the overlap, who drilled home - great finish. Then the old masters Ronaldinho and Kaka combined late on to snatch a point, Kaka thumping home from the edge of the box. Julio Cesar probably should've done better in the Basingstoke goal.
Perhaps disappointing for Basingstoke who looked good for the win but well done Andover for making their chances count.
Goals
Basingstoke: Rossi (Quintero), Teixeira (Rossi)
Andover: Jenkinson (Chadli), Kaka (Ronaldinho)
Yellows
Basingstoke (4): Rode, Boetius, Rossi, Gibbs
Andover (3): Delph, Alderweireld, Fonte
MotM: Giuseppe Rossi. goal and an assist. Will count himself unlucky not to bring home 3 points for his side.

BLYTH SPARTANS 2-1 STOCKPORT COUNTY
Fruity split
Home 6+2
Draw 3
Away 4
Blyth (4-2-3-1): Gordon; Darmian, Jagielka, Dede, De Sciglio; De Rossi, De Jong; Gabbiadini, Wijnaldum, Berardi; Zaza
Stockport(4-4-2): Forster; Clyne, Lascelles, Varane, Durm; Ginter (Ings 70), Schneiderlin, Clasie (Hughes 70), Rakitic; Costa, Aguero
MATCH REPORT
This looked like a good match on the cards, and so it proved. The majority of Tino's team's names have De in them - De Rossi, De Jong, he even has De De for feck's sake - and Blyth were DEfinitely the stronger team on paper today. Stockport have a forward line that will win him a lot of points but the defensive vulnerabilities can't be overlooked. And moving Ginter into midfield has paid off in the past but today it left Lascelles exposed against Tino's clever attacking players, and the narrow formation cut off space and supply to the strikers too much.
Blyth dominated possession and eventually took the lead in the 2nd half, Zaza finally prising the dominant Varane out of position to allow Gabbiadini a run on goal from De Rossi's pass. He had a lot to do but he found the corner - a goal made in Italy. Stockport hit back within 30 seconds, Aguero blocking a Jagielka clearance and haring through on goal to beat Gordon, but Blyth took the points after Wijnaldum stepped over a Berardi cross and there was Zaza to slam home.
A good contest but 3 DEserved points for Tino.
Goals
Blyth: Gabbiadini (De Rossi), Zaza (Berardi)
Stockport: Aguero (no assist)
Yellows
Blyth (2): Gordon, Dedededededede
Stockport (3): Aguero, Clasie, Ings
MotM: Raphael Varane. Tough call since he was on the losing side but he was a brick wall today and was let down by Lascelles who wasn't quite up to it today.

SOUTHEND UNITED 1-1 SEKHUKHUNE LIONS
Fruity split
Home 6+2
Draw 5
Away 4
Southend (4-3-3): Buffon; Trippier, Mustafi, Schar, Ward; Geis, Can (Onazi 65), Pjanic; Welbeck, Bony, Oxlade-Chambermaid (Sturridge 70)
Lions (4-2-3-1): Lodygin; Jedvaj, Howedes, Dragovic, Ghoulam; Krychowiak, Jorginho (Sinkgraven 77); Sterling, Ziyech (Anderson 64), Calhanoglu (Fekir 80); Lacazette
MATCH REPORT
A close match-up, and another game where the home team might feel a little aggrieved not to have all 3 points. Southend have a strong lineup and a top midfield which is made to dominate at home. Leiva's Lions are no slouches though and even though he's remodelling his squad he got a strong lineup out today.
Southend did dominate possession and Pjanic was instrumental in carving out a number of chances, but it was Lions who took the lead after 25, Jorginho dancing through midfield and playing a slick 1-2 with Lacazette to set him in on goal; in fact it was a 1-2-3 as he returned the ball to the Frenchman who made no mistake.
Southend continued to dominate and they got their goal midway through the second half, Pjanic lifting the ball up to Bony who outmuscled Dragovic to swivel and finish smartly. There were more chances but no more goals.
Goals
Southend: Bony (Pjanic)
Lions: Lacazette (Jorginho)
Yellows
Southend (2): Bony, Mustafi
Lions (4): Ghoulam, Calhanoglu, Dragovic, Ziyech
MotM: Miralem Pjanic. Pulled the strings today, if anyone was going to create a winner it was him.

Not much point with a write up, but as ever Welshy's tactics were very strong. I always think these write ups should give some suggestions for improvement, and for me I'd like to see Welshy go and get a "world class" player... But currently his teams it well above mine so what do I know? Welshy's clearly got a formula that works for him, and he secured an easy 3-0 here today.
Yellows -
Fishguard - Van Beek, Baselli, Hendrix, Fischer

Oops -
MOTM - Klassen - Welshy had Klassen acting as a 'late' midfielder which worked wonders today against an Arsenal side who simply didn't show up!

For what it's worth Baggy, I thought it was a bit unbalanced having Teixeira drift in centrally from the left and have Menez switch wings - that meant that there'd always be one full back a bit exposed with no-one ahead of them. It's not an issue with your formation exactly, just though it was a bit more open than if you'd simply had your wingers switch flanks.
