Afternoon all.
I saw Martin playing left back for Palace on MOTD the other night and it made me wonder how he's getting on. I was sad to see him leave Anfield but really he needed to kick-start his career again after all the injuries and getting regular minutes was a must.
I haven't seen much of Palace this season but the stats show that he has played more minutes for them this season than he ever managed in a season for us which must mean:
a) he's stayed relatively fit
b) he's being selected regularly
neither of which he ever really achieved with us.
Have any fellow Reds seen much of him this season? If so, how has he been performing?
I know there aren't many Palace fans on here but TUX, if you're around, have you got any views on how he is getting on?

Still holds the record for shortest England career doesn't he? 2 or 3 minutes

How come he has stayed fit all season with them yet he was injured every other week with us?
Is this why we got rid of Zaf

@OP
It's great for him to be injury free after a long while and finally getting a decent run week in/out.
He's pretty much starting every game, generally at RB, but he's also played LB and CB when needed.
He's definitely got the look of a CB so maybe that's where he'll end up in a year or so.
A bit of a gamble tbh regarding his injury record despite the small fee, £1.5ish(?), but one that's paying off.
He's doing well
