There will be some that won't agree, others will. But personally, I can't wait to see this kid back. At his age and situation, he deserves a chance and he can make a contribution to the betterment of cricket as a whole.
Icc to approve his return, he'll be allowed to play competitive cricket from next month. Expect him in the english county scene soon. Apart from South Africa and austraila, the cricket world is deprived of raw pace bowlers

What are the odds of that

Don't think I've ever been more impressed with a young fast bowler as I was with him. Swings it both ways, pace to boot and some real aggression he showed in his short burst of a career. Such a shame it was curtailed by his own idiocy and other wrong influences when all the lad should have been doing was playing Cricket. It'll be tough for him to get back into it straight away but he's still very young and there are high hopes from him. Won't be too pleased if he starts banging out wickets against India although that's still quite likely.

yes but i think he would have lost his talent and skill. as being out of your game for 4 years certainly he will not be able to bowl like he used to bowl 4 years back

Amir was banned for 5 years, he completed his term, if he's good he should be allowed to play for the team.Im sure some from the moral brigade will have an issue but if someone has an issue with that then they can stop following the match he's playing.
It'll be interesting to see how the PCB handle it. I think most pak fans are deluded if they think he's going to pick up the ball after 5 years and produced like he did before. It will take time. Can't see him in Pakistsn side anytime soon.

We've been shít in too many games now, it's like the AVB tenure all over again. I can tell some of these players don't care. Credit to bradford still.

England fan. Cricket fan. No problem with Amir's return, he's served his time and, hopefully, learned his lesson. Looking forward to seeing him again if he gets back to where he was.

Glad to read that the ICC are to approve an early comeback for the kid who's still 22/23. 5 years out of the game will make it a tough ask to see whether he can make it back to international level but the way our bowlers are performing even Shoaib Akthar can still make a return.

He's only 22. I'm sure he can make up for lost time.
