Urgent !!!!

We are doing well under our new manager at the moment but I do feel we need a striker who can kick us on to be a serious threat to our rivals at the top of the league.

Rightly so he concentrates on keeping things tight at the back but we are sadly lacking up front. In my opinion a striker is a must this week or we will struggle to make that final push.

Thoughts please guys.

Couldn't agree more.
It's ok Jimmy saying we need to create more chances for our forwards but when we do we need someone to take them. Had we have had a proper finisher last season we would be in league one already.
Other teams put their chances away and finish teams off.
We don't!
To me he needs to go out & but Hylton from Oxford.
He would get us the goals to seal promotion

From what I watched yesterday, yes we lack pace up front and a goal hanger.
Yorks new striker, was a very direct physical striker and that's something we just don't have in our team.
York had done their homework on the rookie Ref and all the over the top physical contact almost worked.

This is becoming almost a carbon copy from last season. I still believe that we may have been in League 1 this season, if GR had bought in reinforcements who can score goals.
Everyone has chipped in with the goals this season and we miss players like Macca, who will attack the goal.

Yes, we need a striker ASAP.

I have been saying for weeks we need a proven goalscorer ,every game is the same ,we struggle to score more than one goal ,and that has been coming from our defenders and midfield players . Its time to push on now Jimmy , and bring someone who can get us over the promotion line ,or i think it may all end in tears again.

One alternative view might be that it is the supply line that is the problem. It might be said that ones strikers are only as good as the creators.

Big Mac, Lucas and Jimmy have been absent for varying times. Maybe this young kid from Derby might be the answer.
