I think it's about time we give this guy the credit he deserves. I'm not saying things are perfect at Spurs and Poch for me is still finding his feet at the club but to get a team to a cup final in his 1st season is still an achievment and we have not got to a cup final since 2008 so this certainly can't be ignored because other managers before him haven't achieved this with the club. Not to mention we are still fighting for a top 4 place and we are still in Europe.
I think he has done a decent job with the players he has been dealt with and although we have seen a lot of lackluster performances this season i would definetly say Poch has developed a never say die attitude and much improved fitness to this side because it's no coincidence that we continue to keep scoring last minute winners. Manchester United used to be praised for having this mentality and they were masters at it under Fergie and although i'm not saying we are the old United but my point still remains that we are a much fitter outfit under Poch no doubt about it.
Things can't be ignored though and we are still switching off in certain games which will cost us and this is something Pochettino has to deal with and improve on but i certainly hope next summer Pochettino hopefully will be backed by Levy ( I'm not convinced) and he can bring in his own players to suit his philosophy and we can push on from there. Apart from that i am extremely happy we are in the final at Wembley and can't wait for March 1st. Oh and Levy you tight fisted bald b astard, get us a f ucking striker!!!!!!

Don,
We seem to be going round in circles. As I have said countless times, apart from what happened at Arsenal (why that offends you, I have no idea? ) everything you are claiming is totally unfounded during his time at THFC. And the bit you cannot seem to take in or accept is that all official sources from within the club, players and managers alike, all claim he is a good character to have around. So this is the dilemma I have, do I believe:
a) Don, a member of an independently run sports forum, who has no internal connections with THFC.
b) Reports that we hear direct from the people who are truly ITK (players and managers), and also taking into account he was chosen (& trusted) to captain THFC just last week.
It’s a toughie but I think (b) just edges it for me.
Anyway, there are plenty of other articles about Ade doing the rounds so there is no point turning this into one as well. I simply came on here Wednesday night to say that I do not consider a victory against a League One team as a piece of managerial genius, neither have I before, and never will do as long as we are a top tier club. I’m glad we’re through to the final nethertheless so I’ll leave it there.

The funny thing is chicken when I used that exact same argument you are using in regards to AVB once you completely dismissed it and this is why I find you so in-consistent. I remember when you were on here talking about how you don't think Gareth bale had improved because of AVB and I quoted you a statement from Bale praising Avb for helping him for part of his developments. As always because it proved you wrong you were quick to brush it off saying " all players come out with that for their managers" so why the hell does that not hold up but the exact same examples are being used in your defence of Ade you are astounding mate with your hypocrisy at times. I can use your exact same argument and say " well players would be positive about Ade because they don't want any negativity surrounding the club and the situation" which would actually be a good argument. I think you need to take a hard think on what you say in previous arguments because it usually comes back to bite you in the a ss

Don,
Again, you are trying to lie your way out of it. I have always maintained that AVB should get praise for Bale’s improvement.
I created an article back in May 2013 where I said the following:
“Under Harry: Amazing transformation from average LB to one of the most feared offensive players in the league.
Under AVB: Exceptional season, transforming him to one of the most feared players in the world. Capped off with an impressive goal return”.
Refer to link:

So talking of comments coming back to “bite you on the ass” that’s 2 apologies you owe me for lying (the first was your accusation that I threw the first insult on this very article) and I have proved you to be a liar again.
Will I get an apology? I doubt it….

Don,
Didn’t you once go by the user name:
Don_tottenham [ Adebayor is the prophet ]
For your information, the meaning of “prophet” is as follows:
"A person who speaks by divine inspiration or as the interpreter through whom the will of a god is expressed.
One of the highest-ranking leaders of the Mormon church, considered by the faithful to be divinely inspired, and responsible for establishing and revising doctrine.
A person gifted with profound moral insight and exceptional powers of expression.
The chief spokesperson of a movement or cause".
Someone has changed their tune haven’t they? .

I will find that article now where you were arguing with me until you were blue In the face saying how bales comments about how good AVB is meant nothing and it's exactly the same argument you are using in your defence of Adebayor. Funny how in the article you just showed me you are praising Avb for his development of bale but in others you couldn't accept it. Again very in consistent with your views,.

Don,
Again very in consistent with your views,.
===============
I have never denied Bale improved under AVB - and have proved this by my article link in May 2013.
Your claims are (as always) pure fabrication and totally unfounded.
