We are always linked to high priced, high wage players to boost the squad, but maybe for next Season we should think about integrating some of the more promising Academy Players out there, so who?. Defence seems to be a problem at the moment so is it time for Jason Deneyar who is currently on loan at Celtic and gaining plaudits. Another is Angelino, a promising left back, maybe to replace Kolarov. Further forward we have seen glimpses of Brandon Barker, a winger to challenge the disfunctional Navas. Don't forget Marcos Lopes who is having a successful loan stint at Lille. In the midfield Seko Fofano is a powerful box to box midfielder in the Yaya mold who is having a great loan spell at Fulham, so maybe no need to spend a fortune on Paul Pogba. There are indeed many more, George Evans, George Glendon, Devante Cole and many more I have probably missed.

Barker hasn't physically developed yet, to play him in the first-team against adults would be to jeopardise his career x

If he had any interest in bringing them through there would've been some of them on the bench at least against boro

Agree with you Paul, thought he was brought in because he was more likely to do that than Mancini. Perhaps Barker needs a year loan next season as some of the others already have.

I'd like to see Vieira moved up to at least first team assistant coach next season with a view to taking over from Pellegrini when the time is right,he will bring them through I'm sure

I don't get to see the EDS play for logistical reasons but did watch the game v Schalke. I was very impressed with Angelino , he played an all action game and I hope he makes it with us but if not with us ,I would expect he will have career in the game . He was my personal player of the match .
