Salah & Schrulle thing!

At times we definitely rub our heads at why the club handled these players in the manor they did, for each of them we can present an argument why they should have been given more game time and room to develop .

From the clubs perspective they are valuable assets which have been invested in with the fee and the subsequent contract.

All of them have had the opportunity to stamp there mark on a place in the squad, some agreed didn't get the type of runs in the first team us supporters would have liked, but at training all of these players spent at least 1 full season if not two in the first team squad, in this time the club evaluates them week in week out , where they have the chance to find there level and make one of the positions there own

At every transfer window the club must decide how / who best to use its assets to continue the development and its these players who are assets who then will be ideally sold on , loaned out or used as make weights in a deal.

Our club has become in my opinion one of the best operators in the transfer market in world football, we are using our assets wisely, profitably and where the players are difficult to move on we are getting the best out of the loan system, this is all enabling us to be FFP compliant, something the very few people in world club football ever believed possible.

This method has given us a system to continue developing the squad , with resent signings such as Courtois, Aplizilcueta,Luis, Oscar, Willian, Zouma,Matic, Fabregas, Costa, Caudrado.

So yes it has been confusing to see the like of Marin, Moses,Sturridge, Ba, KdB, Lukaku, Salah , & Schrulle move, but the replacements and prospects for the continued well being of the club are excellent .

Finally I'm not suggesting we got it right every time, but there is a method to our supposed madness
