Should add a bit of spice to proceedings. It also seems he's been talking to that disgusting rag....not good form on AC's part.

I also feel a bit of sympathy for him and this part of his times interview rings true...
“I can remember coming on and winning my first header," he says. “The noise all kicked off. But I never really got a grip on being fit. The frustration is that I could not get myself going. I went there injured, I was rushing myself back to be fit because I wanted to play and they were rushing me back, too. That meant I would play one game, then miss two, then play another and so on. Then I’d be out and it was a snowball effect."
Would have been nice to at least see him fully fit at Liverpool but I don't think he ever was.
Just our luck he looks back to his best now we have to play against him.
Carroll slates BR

Carroll is a good player if he can stay fit but when you are appointed as manager you have to implement your ideas and systems. It might have been handled better perhaps but Rodgers was honest with Carroll rather than mislead and waste him when he was not in the plan from day one. Carroll is doing well at West Ham who have a different style to ours which proves Rodgers to have been right about Carroll. I dont see the problem really.

Mamba
Agree with the majority of that, I'm sure Carroll's comments have been hyped by the media anyway. Personally I wouldn't start him, Valancia and Sakho for me. Carroll to come on as an impact sub.
That said Sam A will probably decide we can't match you in a passing game (I disagree) and start him with a view to playing big and hard.

Just realised I wrote "big and hard", blimey.

Caroll, let your goals do that talking.
Score the winner and you can wave to the Anfield faithfuls

Carroll never got to grips with playing for Liverpool, how much of that was injury and how much was mentality is up for debate.
There were big question marks over his lifestyle choices at the time. Rumours of booze and partying. Is it any coincidence that his form now is as good as ever when he's settled down and expecting a kid?
I do feel for him a bit. Too much, too soon I think. Price tag wasn't his fault but it was thrown at him and us constantly and injuries definitely played a part.
I'm not sorry he's gone, wasn't doing it for us, but if he ended up as a 20 goal a year striker it wouldn't overly surprise me.

If that was true that is quite weak of br. He ahould have told him to his face.
ac is a good player ans he recently looks like he lost some weight and looks quite lean.
be seems a decent geezer. Wish him well but hopw he does not score today. Only point i would add is doing the i terview with the s c u m is dissapointing
