It's been what, 50 years since we won at Anfield?
It's getting silly now, we can beat Arsenal and Man U at there places, even Chelsea, but not so much. Sure Liverpool have probably been the better team for most of that time, but teams lose to "inferior" groups of players all the time. It's a curse.
As a Hammer I'd take a win today in whatever fashion, luck, a single goal against the run of play, even as a result of the poorest refereeing performance ever.
It's not going to happen though, I actually don't think there is much to choose between our first teams at the moment, but I still expect us to lose.
Still Stevie G is a gentleman as far as I'm concerned and I look forward to saying goodbye.
Will West Ham finally beat Liverpool?

Not very clinical and really poor at defending route 1 attacks/crosses and set pieces, the odds are in Allardyces favour surely? No better time then now really.

A lot expected of someone who has been out of the game for so long. match fitness does not come in one game. But Sturridge knows he is seen as the one to save their season.
Pressure or what. One player
=====================================
Bit much to expect him to come straight back and start firing, but hopefully if he is on the pitch, and a decent chance falls to him, he might, unlike the majority of our players, manage to not hit the ball directly at the keeper.
