"He's one of Burton's best players, if not the best and is someone that will bring a lot of quality." Michael Appleton (Oxford Manager)
He has had a very good season for us and that has represented a considerable improvement on previous seasons. I actually wanted him to be playing at last. In previous years he was extremely poor.
I am surprised he is going there. They are 15th and not up to much. I note that his contract is up at the end of the season which might be a factor. I am surprised that JFH is prepared to let him go after praising him soon after he arrived.
I am not sure if I am disappointed in his imminent departure or not. He has been good this season but the memories of his inept performances prior to this campaign still linger in my memory.
A willing grafter, good at tackling back and a decent free kick. However, not one of our best players Mr Appleton and definitely not the best.

Not to bothered my good friend, yes he has played well this season but we don't know what fee has come in for him and fair play to him he may have got a lot higher wage offer.
Hold on to your hat this may be a ploy to bring in a top player in the next 24 hours.

Good buisness for the Brewers as Macdonald may have left in a few months anyway . He was better this season but always left me fustrated ,a very hard working player who sometimes dived in at times and got himself booked uneccesarily ,not really a goalscorer but chipped in with some useful goals this season after a dreadful season last year ,i wish him well .
