Since there isn't an "official" thread for the Belgium GP I thought I'd make one. Right, lets see what this forums got when it comes to discussing a race weekend.
Go nuts!

How was that Hamilton's fault?

"How was that Hamilton's fault?"
He thought he was ahead, however he wasn't...he then drifted into Kobyashi without checking!
Therefore it was his fault for presuming something had happened that clearly had not! His actions were extremely naive and possibly arrogant and thankfully nobody was seriously hurt....yet again Hamilton ruins another drivers race however!

It's funny, some people seem to think that Hamilton hasn't caused a single crash, ever!
I'd say you're right about his arrogance, as it continued in the interview afterwards. Didn't even bother to know who he crashed into and then didn't answer the final question, he just seemed to storm off in a huff. He's acting like a spoilt child, although I suppose that's exactly what he is. Gets everything his own way and can do what he wants.
I wish the other drivers would boycott a race, refuse to race alongside this clown as he's a serious risk to their own and others' lives.

drunken hobo & billybob
Care to open both your eyes or is that too hard for you?
Of all the incidents with Hamilton this year, this was definitely wasn't his fault. He had the line and if anything Kobayashi turned in on him (I personally think the stewards got it right, just).
Every driver on the grid has at some point in their careers collided with another driver. Yet are you slamming Senna for his shunt with Alguesuari? Did you slam Vettel for his crashes last year?
I'd say the answer to those is no.
Why is it you seem to have a constant need to hate Hamilton? Or why do you feel the need to post your drivel on the internet? I don't think anyone from from the F1 community reads this site.
So sit back watch the race and if a driver annoys you too much, switch off.

"Why is it you seem to have a constant need to hate Hamilton? "
Can you expand on this please and quantify your remarks with something other than insulting attempted put-downs?
This is probably the 3rd time I have posted on this board, I do not remember 'hating' Hamilton in either of my 2 previous comments, so why have you jumped on me and my comments as though I am some sort of Hamilton basher?
The incident today is not as clear as you make it out...Hamilton has admitted that he thought he was ahead and thus the line was his to take...however he wasn't ahead, this is clear from all the replays I have seen and thus the line was not his! Kobyashi was trying to overtake Hamilton on the outside, Hamilton did not see him, they crashed! Hamilton has admitted this, you feel differently, fair enough...
Also, if you want to talk about years and crashes gone by then I suggest you start a thread about it...this one is about the Belgian GP 2011!

In fairness, the first comment was really directed at drunken hobo and other posters who spout bitter twisted words about Hamilton on this and other forums and the old 606. I don't get why people have a need to lambaste drivers, be it Button or Hamilton or Vettel or whoever, when they have no experience whatsoever and if I have mistaken you for one of these one-eyed, bitter posters, then I apologize.
In respect to the incident today. Firstly, I was surprised Kobayashi had the speed to even get close coming down Kemmel! But I feel that when he pulled along side he should have realized that he didn't have the line and a crash could be caused so he should have either backed off or turned in later. But if he thought he could have pulled off the move then who am I to argue!

Not sure why you think I'm being bitter towards Hamilton. I'll concede there is a slight amount of bitterness that despite having far less talent than I do, he's a multi-millionaire and racing at the highest level, but other than that, nothing.
I'm fed up of him ruining other people's races and constantly getting away with it. It's so corrupt it's unbelievable, at any other team Hamilton would have been banned years ago, but he continues to be allowed to ruin a sport I used to love watching.
He will kill someone if he's allowed to continue. Although no doubt that'd be blamed on someone else too.

Kobyashi was totally in the wrong as he could see he had no chance of getting past hamilton and should have backed off at the corner. Hamilton was on the driving line and was nearly a full car length in front of Kobyashi, I can't believe the stewards didn't call Kobyashi in for a chat after the race. Yet again the inocent Hamilton loses.

Hamilton admitted on his twitter that it was his fault but to say he's trying to kill someone is moronic. It was a racing incident he should have seen Kobiyashi but didn't much in the same way that Button didn't see Hamilton when he moved over on him in Canada. Was Button trying to kill Hamilton or was it just, as it was today, a simple mistake?
