What about doing it in a draft style? Scrap budgets. Teams changes every season. Have very short seasons.

8 managers (say), and you have to fill a 25 man squad with whatever players you so choose. Everyone picks in sequence 1-8, 8-1, until every squad is complete. Transfers can occur within the league, but only between clubs - So if a player isn't drafted this season, then he can't feature at all, he can't be bought in.

I'd be up for that but drafts have a history of failing

Perhaps no foreigns would make it less intense

I like that Park.... Maybe have a financial limit on the squad?

I'd be up for a drafts league but without the likes of Bale, Messi, Neymar, Ronaldo and Suarez getting in from the start that way we have to save up for them if we want to sign them .

Suarez
Ronaldo
Bendtner
Hazard
Sanchez

But if we do drafts they'd be no money, so there's no reason to leave them out.
