as a general fan of all west mids clubs, I have to say Lambert really has to fall on his sword, otherwise Villa will go down, and with it take all manner of unwanted records with them.

How he's keeping his job is taking the p!ss in this day and age of football.

How can you be a general fan of clubs in a certain area? It makes no sense to me

It's like there used to be a guy who claimed to be a "Merseyside Fan" because he liked Liverpool and Everton equally.

The rivalry between makes it impossible. I can't see and Birmingham, West Brom or Wolves fans being happy talking to you about the plight of Aston Vila, unless it's just to laugh at them.

Blues first, but I also take a pragmatic approach to the West Mid clubs as a whole. And that's just the way it is

I am.

I support ALL midlands teams. I want to see them all do well.

I cant stand teams from Manchester or London.

I dont mind teams from the North East.

But I like to see all Midlands teams do well because I am, first and foremost, a midlander myself.

Even though, these days, I live in Sweden and have done for quite a few years.
