Florence, I can assure you that lads are lads. Many will never touch alcohol in their playing life, others, and a lot of them, will be regular drinkers. It's not like the 80s where they sit in the pub all afternoon, but they still unwind.

Fitness levels are monitored, I bet his fitness is right up there.

My cousin went out with a Derby apprentice who is now coaching in California after spending time at Burton Albion. When he was at Derby and Cloughie was the manager he said that the club had a very low tolerance towards alcohol. I'm assuming that this hasn't changed since Steve McClaren arrived.

Hendrick getting into a fight and getting knocked out and having to miss 4 games did abit of harm to his fitness levels.

I concur but that certainly won't have affected his long term fitness. Alcohol certainly will if you are a professional athlete.

I don't care about Ince or Jesse James. I'm just happy that Will is still here. 😃😍

LOL yes! He was a lovely lad but didn't cut the mustard at Burton or else he would still be there. They'd split before he'd left Derby but have kept in touch. I'm guessing here that you live in Ambergate?
