Anyone hear LVG pronounce Preston North End?
----------------------------------------------------------------------

No, so how does a Dutch 'Preston North End' sound like?

Nah, Wilson was a 6

I only saw the 1st 20 mins as I was playing 5 a side.... But I wonder if the way we were playing (high balls to Fellaini) was in preparation for the visit to West Ham?

Not heard it myself, but apparently it rivalled 'Queens Park Raisins'.

Did Blind even have a job to do tonight? Playing 5 in midfield at home to a team in League 2 who offered little threat.
---------------
watch the game again
blind was covering our full backs when either of them got forward, linked defence to midfield/attack, he was also quick to close down before cambridge attacks developed. That is what a good dm does. Stop the attack b4 it develops

These are just soundbites, that is the minimum requirement of a DM, Cambridge really offered very little so Blind's role was limited.

Blind played well on Saturday but tonight's game definitely shouldn't be used to prove Blind can play the DM role well because he had virtually nothing to do.
