Barcelona v Notts County
The home team had a real tussle on their hands in this game.
Notts County were well aware they could get right back in the promotion mix up with two games left of the season and they played with the bit between their teeth.
It was County who opened the scoring with some lovely play down the wing by Sanchez. He seemed to be the out ball every time Barcelona were pressing and was constantly one on one against a Barcelona defender.
He got himself down the wing and to the edge of the box where he went for goal, the effort was miskicked and fortunately for County Dybala manager to flick his left foot at the ball and back on target wrong footing the Barcelona keeper.
The whole first half was a tale of missed opportunities for County and they could easily have been 3/4 up by the midway point.
2 minutes into the second half Mex's team were hit with a sucker punch.
Gabi with a deep free kick caught the County defence on their heels as they disputed a free kick and the long punt up top was straight on Pelle's head who nodded it over the on rushing De Gea.
Mex will be upset about the way the goal was conceded but even more frustrated with the two stonewall penalties his team were denied.
Sanchez was literally rugby tackled down by Arbeloa following a corner and the referee claimed the Chilean had gone down too easily.
Whilst Isco who had rounded the Barcelona keeper had his shot blocked by a flailing Casemiro
This was when Mex seemed to lose his mind...screaming on the touchline he seemed to forget who he was playing in the middle of the pitch.
It seemed clear he had forgot Isco was off of the injury table and he seemed to think the little trickster was actually Brahimi (check the tactics).
And it's possible the manager losing his mind was what caused Isco to give away the ball in a dangerous area to De Marcos.
De Marcos played a nice little one two off of Pelle and rifled home the winner.
A game that shouldn't have gone Barcelona's way but for a lot of luck, bad refereeing and some dodgy mistakes from a few individuals.
Full Time Result:
Barcelona 2-1 Notts County

Dybala (Sanchez).
Pelle (Gabi), De Marcos (Pelle)
MOTM: Sanchez, was magic tonight and will be bitterly frustrated that his team ended without any points.

Manchester Mandems v FC Pride
I've never seen a more one sided game and the Mandems crowd will be wanting their money back after this one.
Pirlo taken down on the edge of the box within the first 5 minutes knew exactly what to do when putting the ball down for the free kick.
The ball wobbled through the air and flew past the Mandems keeper.
The Mandems tried their best to utilize Suarez and Ba up top and on the odd occasion Mascherano was beaten in the air.
However FC Pride absolutely bossed this match and if it was a boxing match it would have been ended before half time.
on 40 minutes Robben secured the 3 points for FC Pride by latching on to Hazard through ball.
He waltzed past the Mandems defence and popped it over the keeper and into the net.
The second half was all about controlling the game for Pride who in all honesty were comfertable at 2, they may have gone for more but the Mandems never really forced them into breaking a sweat.
Full Time Result:
Mandems 0 - 2 FC Pride
Goal Scorers:
Pirlo (FK), Robben (Hazard)
MOTM: Pirlo, got kicked about but still managed to control the game and got the goal he deserved.
Yellows:
Mandems: Crouch, Vlaar, Carrick, Downing
FC Pride: Pedro, Eneyema, Castro

Fart 2-2 Fan
Interesting match up this, with both sides chasing promotion, Haak as i've said countless times (about 10) has a superb midfield, but today he came up against a side with a midfield that'll ask him some questions in return....Fan has strengthened his defence since the last outing and now has a genuinely good spine to his side.
I did have Haak down as slight favourite today but ultimately I think a draw is probably fair.
