Chelsea are top. Leicester are bottom. Everyone else is in the middle and in the table. By the definition of the OP this constitutes midtable.

Mid table equates to boring. Teams do not ave the excitement of possible Champions League nor do they ave the excitement of a relegation scrap. Their seasons generally over by Feb, yawn, yawn, yawn.
