Google Are At It Again

Google have made it easier for any gooners attending the NLD tomorrow. No longer do we have to go through the arduous process of typing "White Hart Lane Stadium" into google maps.

A simple "the shíthole" will do

Rangers Celtic is probably the biggest

Was the biggest. They can't really qualify these days with Rangers in the sorry state that they are.

The quality of the clash must form part of the argument as well. Scottish football has been dire for a very long time now.

Arsenal v Tottenham may not have quite the passion of Rangers v Celtic, nor the glamour of El Classico or the Milan derby, but it is a good mixture of both quality and passion. Not only that, the games are actually entertaining.

Very good post.

Was hoping to catch a few bites with that comment, but you've posted such a true and knowledgeable post, I will stray from the WUM path I started on.

Gotta say North London derbies are the best to watch, especially when 'Arry was in charge.

Some real humdinger battles went on, David Bentley's 45 yard lob was in NLD wasn't it? And Rose's screamer. Henry scored that goal when he ran from his own half as well, that was against Tottenham weren't it?

We have Rooney's overhead shin though

Agreed. I said this yesterday. If you want good quality football combined with some crunching tackles then the NLD is the one to watch. Derbies like the TyneWear derby or the Merseyside derby are just plain awful to watch. Little to no football played. Just concerned with taking each other out for 90 mins. Even Liverpool Utd games are sometimes poor.

West ham have the potential to grow as a club by getting the Olympic stadium but it might turn out to be bad for the fans as the atmosphere they generate at the Boleyn ground will not be the same.

Their board done well to get the ground.

I ain't punishing my club by not going to Milton Keynes it's just I don't agree with going there ,instead I'll pick 4 or 5 decent away games up north.fly up there and stay over for a night out

That's true, any stadium with a running track suffers from a lack of intensity. However, with fans as nutty as the West Ham ones, I wouldn't put it passed them compensating. I'll never forget them warning Jonjo Shelvey that a certain wizard was coming for him.

Their board did very well indeed. I can't remember exactly what she said in the past, but I'm not the biggest fan of Karen Brady on a personal level because of it. Nonetheless, she's a fine businesswoman if there ever was one. Seems to be doing a better job than Alan Sugar did with your lot (I dislike him independently of Tottenham).

I can understand that, but Milton Keynes isn't the worst punishment of all time. When I use a coach to travel down to London (from Leicester) it often stops there and and the road links are excellent. If they have the foresight to subsidise the already cheap travel there, it shouldn't be the greatest inconvenience to Tottenham fans.

Of course, I'm used to going to the Arsenal as a treat. An occasional birthday or the like as it's expensive and I'm from Sussex (my dad's a gooner, before you jump on that). So for a fan used to it being on their doorstep, it might be more frustrating.

Don't worry I wasn't going to have a pop at you for being in Sussex, fair play to you for following your old man and being a gooner.

Hope you have a fantastic Friday evening and a great Sunday but hope on Saturday you've got the right hump
