Clear the head.

Ok, we're out of Europe. Disaster. No doubt about it.

But while our rivals in the East suddenly decide they're not all Neil Lennon after all, I think it's important Rangers fans get right behind Ally and the team.

Lats night's result was an unmitigated embarrassment. But there's no point pondering too long on the negatives.

Let's look at the positives.

Bocanegra looks a quality player who can settle quickly. The big Romanian fella has eased into the team and looks like a steal.

Perry is showing all the signs he can make it. We need to keep faith with him.

The midfield, Edu aside, is accomplished. We know what Jelavic can do. Naismith is playing his best football.

Let Celtic implode while we just pick up the heads and get on with things. The Rangers Way.

"but thats no excuse rangers team last nite showed no passion and desire at all"

We had 17 shots on goal ffs. It was skill we were lacking... not desire

Finishing was dire. that is it. Lots of players contributed to this. the strikers in the main part.

Ishmael, I can remember us missing at least 2 out and out sitters through my drunken haze, so yes on another night with a bit more poise in front of goal we would have won quite easily but ach well that's fitbaw.

from what i seen from both teams

our managers seem totally clueless when it comes to changing a game

Noone's keeping Ness out of the team...the boy's injured ffs

Once he's back and shows something in training, he'll probably get a game.
When that is, noone knows.

Edu has been okay this season, and deserves a bit of support.
There's no point giving the boy a hard time.
If Ally thinks he's the most deserving of a start, then he probably is.

I completely go along with that, we got put out early by teams who weren't great in the 90s frequently and only weeks after making the Uefa cup final got put out by Kaunas, who in my books were less of a team than Malmo/Mairbor. I'm not trying to defend getting fecked out of both cups in a fortnight, it's pis
poor. I just don't think getting put out of Europe early is really anything new for us.

I honestly think if we have a similar team out next season, just carrying a bit more form/ consitency, then we can compete in the earlier stages, and if Cetlic get their de fault entry this season they'll proabably grab a couple of decent results.

I might be suffereing from headinthesanditis, I just think we didn't get the rub of the green over the four games.
