I agree with you on both counts--Sion should be booted out, but they won't be.

they wont get booted out, i would feel cheap if we got in like that, but its more money for the club and it certainly something scotland should be pulling for cause our co-efficient badly needs it.

They broke the rules and went against UEFA and FIFA. They should be booted out.

Yes they broke the rules, but think about it lads, last night we got beat because we were not good enough.

Now I know we were down to 10 men but thats because big Dan who may I remind a few is playing all the time as unless I am missing something, the guy is not fit enough to wear the Jersey.

Now if we went through there are far better teams than Sion and god knows what would happen if we played them.

Celtic needs to realise that our back 4 for the last couple of years has been Celtic s weak point but guess what we don't do anything about it.

If we go through and Sion get kicked out do you really think we will do any better ??

Long story short: they were banned from signing players for a previous infraction but went ahead and signed five new players anyway.

One of them was an Asian player which drew the attention of FIFA and the others were signed within Europe which drew the attention of UEFA.

They apparently got the go ahead to sign the players from the Swiss FA despite both FIFA and UEFA saying not to sign them.

They then played some of those players in the ties against Celtic despite being warned not to by FIFA and UEFA.

I suspect what will happen is that they will get a fine.

I dont think we deserve to go through but i will take it rather than being out!

The board might actually spend something if we were put through.

I also think we would do ok, group stages are abit easier than a straightforward knockout like the qualifier, we would be under less pressure in the games and it would be a weight of the players shoulders just to be in the group stages!
