Here are Di Maria's stats for 2015 so far.
Goals - 0.
Assists - 0.
Chances created - 8.
Shooting accuracy - 20%.
Crossing accuracy - 12%.
Wow. I'm no big fan of Nani but surely if we swapped them his stats would be far better.
I realise signing Di Maria was a great move - at the time- but it's fair to say he's been poor. If he really does want to move to Paris in the sumer we should sell him as he doesn't really offer that much to our attack. Some will blame the system and fair enough, maybe that's partly to blame but if that's the case, even more reason for Di Maria to leave as the system may never suit him.
Di Maria.

We controlled that game but lacked Penetration

Absolute rubbish. The only time we had any control of the game is when we resorted to hoofing it.

Not really.
We pretty much dominated once they went in front.
Our major problem was our lack of tempo from the off.

Straight Di Maria for Ozil swap?

I think once West Ham went ahead they were fairly happy to sit deep, the fact they brought on Jarvis showed they wanted to get us on the counter.
Whoever was better or controlled the game, the fact is we were poor and it's happening far too often.

As a playmaker, Di Maria doesn't have the decision-making consistency of a Silva or Cesc or Ozil. He has a lot a similarities with Alexis. They make puzzling, frustrating decisions and can be really careless with the ball, but they're relentless and will keep coming back for more. I like his energy and positivity on the ball. If LVG can get his tactics right, Di Maria would come good.

If he's going to be compared to Alexis rather than Silva he will have to add a hell of a lot of goals to his game....3 in 14 in the league (one of which was a cross) is pretty underwhelming...and if he isn't a playmaker like Silva, what is his role in a team that is already playing with 3 strikers on the pitch?

My favourite part of the thread was when Robb conceded a point when threatened with having his own evidence used against Fellaini in the future.

I'd literally just seen the video clip of what happened. Even I couldn't have argued against it.
