Albion vs Swansea match thread

As usual, line ups and predictions.

I'd go with:

Foster
Gamboa Dawson Lescott Pocognoli
McManaman Yacob Fletcher Sessegnon
Berahino Ideye

I'd imagine TP's line up will be very different though

He's got to play Ideye. The lad has just scored in his last game.

But it might make sense to start with 5 in the middle. WBA conceded too many early goals (according to the BBC site) and so it wouldnt be a bad idea to get to half time with the score 0-0.

If WBA want to take control of their own destiny they have to win games. Worryingly everyone except Villa and Leicester seem to be doing this.
We have to find 4 or 5 wins in the next 10 or 11 games. If not the run-in could see us go down, rather like Norwich last year.
This has to be seen as a winnable game. Whatever you might think about Pulls the man and his football - there is not a club in the lower half of the division who would not want him at the helm right now. We have got him and despite some of his selection pecadillos I trust him to see the job through.
Albion to win 2-1.

I pray your prediction comes true, Alouion. Swansea have bested us for the last few seasons and they will be difficult to beat tonight despite their recent indifferent form. We're almost at the stage now where we can hardly say "I'd settle for a point". As you say, we need wins, and soon.

Will we be brave and play 442 away from home also?

Ideye....

Wums are quiet.

Fabulous performance. Every player put in a shift. In a team full of stars Ideye topped the bill with an opportinist goal and an assist for Berahino.
Pulis got it right big time on this occasion.
Swansea are a decent side and move the ball about sweetly but Albion moved swiftly to close loopholes.
Fletcher, Morrison and Jacob all did very well in midfield. I was at the Liberty last year when a surprise away win gave us immense hope that the season had turned for the better. This has the same feeling.

So chuffed for Ideye. He's obviously a confidence player.

More of the same in the cup please!

A really good win, by all accounts.
