Unless something happens this week, I believe we have left it too late to replace Lambert.
However, what is absolutely essential is that we recruit an assistant manager, now. As much as I am unhappy with Lambert's performance, I do have some sympathy for him and it is clear that he desperately needs a bit of support. We seem to have no problem recruiting experts on the business side, but why is there no news regarding one of the most important positions at the club. Hull have just recruited Mike Phelan and that seems to have had an immediate impact.
Has anyone heard any news on this vacancy or does anyone have any suggestions as to who might take the job?
My choice would be DAVID PLATT (England and Villa footballing legend not Coronation St...). Vast experience, ex Villa, comfortable with the media and he might even be able to pass on some advice on how to score a goal!

You're more likely to get Gail Platt, another chinless wonder to go with the one you've already got.
Sorry, couldn't resist.

We've a number of matches coming up which on paper are winnable. So we've a bit of time to sort a new manager, even if it's only a week or two.
In the past I've suggested Gary McAllister as assistant manager. I think he'd be good on coaching the attacking side.
However, I begin to wonder if Lambert has a problem working with assistant managers. We could do worse than McAllister as manager.

Are you guys still interested in the cup?
If the foxes are to be relegated I think winning the cup would soften the blow, just a bit.

Good point hairy
Christ knows we are both deep in the sheite.
It would but at this moment in time with all the crap we both have floating around I would like to stay up.
Both would be good but I doubt it will happen
