Since the beginning of Feb. we have scored 29 goals and conceded 9 - in all competitions including the 1-3 Chelsea game. 14 games in all. We have had 9 clean sheets. In purely league games our record is; scored 26, conceded 6 and in 12 games we've kept 9 clean sheets.
I don't know of a better record. And still fans criticise our defence. Like other human beings (inc fans) our players make mistakes. At the same time our opponents produce some moments of magic and score unstoppable goals. We do the same at the other end.
I believe our form and performances show we are going to get promoted. That's not to say we can't be improved upon. In fact, during the transfer window our strength has been increased and the effects of that have only been partially realised. It just means there is no need and no gain in getting on ANY of our players' backs.
But some folk like nothing better than to get a rise out of criticising other folk and having a good moan.

I would rather Keogh do something stupid in the last minute when we are 4 1 up than when it is 0 0 in a play off final.
All defenders make errors, if they didn't most games would finish 0 0. I know Keogh and Buxton are better than Whitbread and statistics indicate they are better than most in this division. Let's have a proper look at Allbentover on Saturday and see what he has to offer. He looked OK in his cameo debut.

Ramdini, today is February 13th, less than two weeks into the month, so is it me or is it pretty much impossible to have played 14 games since the beginning of Feb?
I couldn't resist, it got me looking.

Played 14 Won 9, Drawn 2, Lost 3
Goals for 27, goals against 12
Clean sheets 8.
I stand to be corrected.
But you are on a very decent run of form.
