Delighted with the victory today and a welcomed quarter final to look forward to. Let's just hope that we can adopt that second half performance into the league games and really put some points on the board in the games that we should be getting something out of. I thought Benteke was very good today and second half we used his assets to our advantage and, ultimately, it was crucial to our victory. The three midfielders were shocking in the first half but looked completely different players in the second half. Defence was solid and backed up by a superb performance from given. Long, long way to go but hopefully we can push on from here. Personally I am happy with sherwood and I think if he keeps us in the league and we get new owners who are prepared to put some money in, we will see ourselves climb up the league. Having said that, this is at least 4/5 year process and we need to give sherwood time and stability, both from the clubs point of view and the fans. Thoughts?

Wasn't too keen on Sherwood but coming round to it; given where this club is ownerwise, he was probably the best choice available. Now he has a chance to show what he can do.
He will have seen some good players on the pitch, but the main problem was starkly obvious. The midfielders just don't provide the threat going forwards, so Leicester had the luxury of sticking two defenders on Benteke. Second half was better but we need to do more. Bacuna deserved his goal as one of our most positive players. Sinclair's goal should do wonders for him (first in 2.5 years). Cleverley had a decent game and maybe there is potential there. Westwood, normally reliable, wasn't great, thought Delph's decision making poor, and Grealish looked way out of his depth. Plenty for Sherwood to work on, but I'm beginning to have hopes.
Pearson has done a decent job of making a Championship level team play to their limits. But they will go down; they are not good enough. We basically are good enough, and it showed today, but our methods need sorting out, and a few results to go our way. Bring on Stoke.

Vlaar was excellent today if he was fit more would help us.
Cleverley was excellent think unfair some of the stick he gets.
Benteke looked good second half.
Good luck to Sherwood he is a fighter and I really hope he can turn it round and have a decent run as manager.
Given must run Guzan close for a start based on today.
Only thing that ruined my day was I got there early too see Randy in the exploding car and he didn;t show.

Much better second half today.
Vlaar to be fair gives us more confidence at the back & I thought Cleverley had his best performance for months.
The team seemed to play with a higher tempo & this will help Benteke & co.
All you can ask is for another home draw, then anything can happen.

leicester fan here don't worry i come in peace i think we are both doomed which is a shame but i do think the city would handle the champ better than you most of our squad is a champ squad.while i cant see many of your lot wanting to be playing lets say millwall away on a friday nite.

Superfox, nope, don't think we're doomed. I think we're good enough that if we get out of the bottom 3 then we'll stay out of it; we're only in it on goal difference at the moment anyway.
You play good stuff at times, but I don't think you can strung enough reasonable results together to stay up. Maybe if you go down and can come back up you'll have a better bash next time.
