Mr Alex Ferguson...

Apparently mr ferguson is in for a rough ride tomorrow at Preston due to him summoning back loan players De Laet, King and James back to Old Trafford when his son Darren was sacked as Preston manager in December 2010.
This petulant act contributed to Prestons relegation the same year.

Mamba and read that entire article and nowhere was there a quote saying Fergie expected £110M

You still don't understand the difference between fact and opinion do you?

For Fergie expecting £110M to be a fact you would need a quote from Fergie saying he expects £110M. All we have is your quite frankly bitter and biased opinion on the matter.

It is incredibly simple to tell the difference between facts and opinions the fact you can't on this issue is purely down to bitterness.

Ohh but let me guess no Fergie got embarrassed

Keep it up guys, enjoying your bias

Erm how was it much deserved? The share in the Rock was a gift.
.............................................................

Ahh, I see.....

Didn't realise we were legally allowed to take gifts away....

Off to my exes a sec.
----------------------------------------------------------------------

I had already replied to a post mentioning it was a gift, pretty sure my article mentioned it was a gift as well....

So I am not sure what imaginary person Mamba is arguing with but I can only imagine that his make believe friend was saying the horse was not a gift...

Well done Mamba, you might look crazy but you've made your imaginary friend look a right fool!!

Last post is the sign of a confused bloke so I can't even respond to that. Where are your facts? What have you provided to prove your 'facts'? Everything you've said has been your opinion whereas I have provided irrefutable proof of any allegations I made from multiple sources. You on the other hand keep squirming and moving goal posts. You have controverted nothing. All you keep saying is it cannot be true because we are 'bitter scousers'. Plus you were the one who told us what was on the writ, right?
I've actually been taking you apart bit by bit on purpose just so I can enjoy this but looks like we are now going round in circles with you repeating thee same post over and over. You are obviously in denial because the facts stare you in the face.

Do you practise being this stupid?

It can't just happen naturally surely....

Okay I will go through it slowly for you Mamba.

You said

.......................................................
I have quoted Fergie here stating to the Observer in 2002 that he bought the horse when it was a gift.= Fact
.......................................................

So I replied to a post I had written a few days earlier pointing out that exact fact.

Clearly there is no argument about the fact it is a gift, clearly this had already been established long before you mentioned it.

So the only way it fits in as part of that rant of a post was if you were arguing with your imaginary friend about whether it was a gift or not. The rest of us established it was a gift a fair while back.

..................................................................

As pointed out several times now, please try to remember this time as well, I posted the first article on the matter.

I am also the one dealing with facts. Fergies settlement is a fact, some scouser saying Fergie was embaressed is his own bitter opinion, some scouser saying Fergie expected is a certain amount is his biased opinion.

The difference between a fact and opinion is very simple but you still have not grasped it.

.................................................
You on the other hand keep squirming and moving goal posts. You have controverted nothing.
.................................................

I haven't moved the goalposts once, I have been consistent throughout. Fergie wasn't embarrassed after taking money from the idiots, my position throughout the conversation.

.........................................
You are obviously in denial because the facts stare you in the face.
..........................................

As has been shown repeatedly you do not understand what a fact is, you keep stating your opinion as if that somehow makes it fact.

I may as well keep stating Shankly is a racist, that is also an opinion rather than fact, one I bet you can understand though

Did this guy really just ask if someone knew the difference between fact and opinion? Did that just happen?
..............................................................

Yes several of you have failed to grasp the very simple difference.

Something that happened is a fact.

Something you think or believe or want to be true is an opinion. Until you learn this the two of you will continue to make yourselves look foolish!

What I practise is making blinkered helmets look like blinkered helmets. And yes it comes naturally.
So, when Fergie told the media that he had bought the horse it was to show his state of mind at the time and the lengths he was ready to go to to get his hands on that money even a blatant lie to media sources, despicable behaviour you want to brush under the carpet. Perhaps his imaginary friend had bought it for him on his behalf? Fact is he wanted this money bad and went after it vigorously.
You providing a link does not mean you provided facts because it is facts that are disputed that we care about. Much of which you put forward is admitted and expounded on in other sources provided here. Why not point out the facts themselves seeing as posting a link to an article does not necessarily mean you provided any that matter?
What you have ignored throughout is that no one was denying that Fergie was entitled to a certain amount, even Magnier himself. He turned down a huge offer to settle that was not far away from what he accepted in the end because he wanted more when he was only entitled to covers as demonstrated already which were estimated at 1.7m if I remember well.
Regardless of anything he did not take 'the idiots' money, he took his own money, given to him by his friend Magnier through the gift of the horse and in the process embarrassed himself and made himself the laughing stock of the horse racing world and had to pay advisors and legal fees. You need to understand Fergie was still to get a significant amount without going to court or looking the fool. Fergie must have known he was entitled to some money his mistake was how much. He thought he would get more money going by his writ, the lies he peddled and his crazy claims like being half owner of the horse when it is standard that gifted horses remain the property of the giver of said gift etc. Where are your facts to disprove this apart from desperate speculation that he wanted less?
Fergie maintained that Magnier had given him half ownership entitling him to half of all proceeds, Magnier claimed to have given him the gift which entitled Fergie to some payments, not half ownership which in horse racing are two different things. Both stuck to their guns. Who won? You will probably still say Fergie so I am done.

Exactly. Fergie was given 4 covers, 2 x in Ireland and 2 x in Australia. At circa 100k a pop (goes the weasel) for 5 years that would be £2m

What did fergie gain? Sod all!
