The marking in our box was poor all night , I couldn't believe PSG won so many headers.

Yes, fair point, Ramires did feck all to stop the cross, but Terry has a better view of the situation than Cahill, so for him to see Cavani in the space between him and Cahill and do nothing is pretty poor play.

Cahill was integral in our goal.

Also don't see how he can be solely blamed for the Cavani goal. Terry was more to blame.

All. Said and done i d like to see zouma play at the bridge for the return leg . Psg were getting plenty of dangerous crosses in the box and winning a lot of the headers too ... i think cahills lack of anticipation and terrys lack of pace create pockets of space at times that are a real cause for concern . Courtois kept us in the game with some fine saves this evening

Cahill has played in and won a Champions League Final as well as got to another CL semi. He has a wealth of CL experience.

I really like Zouma and I like how Jose is giving him some games in the PL but the CL is a stepup and he's still learning his trade.

I think and hope that Zouma will become one of our first choice CB's in time but you have to be careful. Throwing him in there on such a big stage against the likes of Cavani and Ibra is a big step up and I'm not convinced he's quite ready yet

Not sure why Cahill has started becoming a bit of a scapegoat and why Zouma is seen as the saviour tbh, there's not much difference in quality, and it's pretty obvious why Cahill who has been excellent for us in past CL campaigns was chosen tonight. I also like how his work for the goal is completely ignored (showed a better touch than Costa did all night(!) ) and how he's getting sole blame for a gap between the two CBs (key word being two..they're both at fault).

Well said The Blue Kenyan and I think the flick that Cahill made to create Chelsea team goal versus PSG was worldclass touch and it was the best team goal I have seen in the last 4 years!
