A 1-1 draw away to the French champions is a very good result! Cheer up everyone! Yes PSG have been a bit indifferent this season but their home form has still been excellent - they beat Barca earlier in the competition. Yes we didn't play particularly well and lost a lead but we take a crucial away goal back to the Bridge.
The second leg will be a completely different game and I'm sure we'll have more of the ball and many more chances. We seem to play so much better at home, and generally try and take the initiative.
I thought before the match that Jose would play for the draw and that's what I think happened. It's how we've played in almost all of our big away matches this season, think Utd, City, Liverpool (league cup) as good examples.
The bottom line is that 1-1 is a lot better then last year's 3-1 defeat and there is no doubt that we hold the advantage. With a bit of luck we'll ease through to the quarters in three weeks. Up the Chels!
Good result

As Nick said since the New Year our performances have been consistently shaky (especially against decent oppositions).

Just looked and you have a free weekend before that game due to being out the cup.
Unless your posponed game with Leicester is rearranged for that weekend.

We (Everton) got criticised by Chelsea fans for parking the bus,yet if you look at the stats of both games,Everton were far more of an attacking threat than Chelsea were against PSG.

It's a good result, but it's worrying how we can't hold onto a 1-0 lead in big games anymore. Last season I would have felt fairly confident if went 1-0 up that we wouldn't concede but this year we've given up a one goal lead and ended up drawing against United, City twice and now PSG as well.
