The massive positive of this season has been the 4 academy players playing and impressing.

Sometimes I think that all this talk of 'if they are good enough they will make it' is rubbish because so many clubs have very talented youth players but don't give them a chance because of the pressure in football these days, it's too much of a risk. Glad that we are giving opportunities and showing that all talented youth players need is a chance.

Great for the academy too. A clear path to first team, hopefully will make us a more attractive academy to join.

Way I see it is that you can't blood all the young ones at the same time, and if they are all good enough, but you need solidity and experience too, it's a waiting game for some. If he's ready but we can't play him, get him out on loan and playing

Hopefully he'll do well, but it's a big ask for him to do it playing out of position.

I'd rather see him make his debut as a striker in an ideal world.

Best, if talented youth see us as a team who give chances, it will pay dividends.

Especially with Man City holding trials in Yorkshire. Our catchment area has been shrunk. Hopefully they'll see the likes of Delph and Howson going onto the Prem and make the right choice.
