Tony Pulis has once again shown that his attention to detail is second none as he is now ordering new bespoke boots for each player…. Here’s Craig Dawson’s pair for todays trip to Wearside.

Top Managers

Bet the Dingles and Bluenoses wish they had the magical Mick McCarthy as manager. They'd be in with a real chance of promotion then. Oh, wait a minute.........

And by the way, i know it was tongue in cheek suggesting top ten is success to us, but you know that isn't the case.
We are no different to you in the grand scheme of things, you could quite easily collapse like Wigan if you got relegated, or amble in mid table like Cardiff, surviving a few years in the prem doesn't mean you are being successful, it means you are slightly less poor than a few other sides and it is a lottery each season as to who goes down from about 8 teams.

We'm considerably more successful than yow!

He wears a vest,
he is a total pest.
Kestral boy!
Kestral boy!
I'm trying to think of another song for pooinbarca but i'm struggling to think of something that rhymes with administration!

Also, is there anything that rhymes with 'money laundering' and 'six years in a Hong Kong prison'? Perhaps the pest in a vest can help us there.
As for 'top managers', Wolves fans have recent experience of those so they're experts. Mick McCarthy, who was happy as long as his players put a shift in as if they were Barnsley miners and never mind the relegation football. Then there was the master stroke of appointing an untried clipboard man. Was it four points in 13 games with a team broken by McCarthy? Followed by 'modern European coach' Stale Bread, followed by the disastrous 'I know the secret of getting into the Premier League but I'm not telling anybody' Dean 'Deano' 'Relegation-o' Saunders.
All of them 'top managers' taking Wolves back 30 years to the 1980s.
All of them playing rubbish football.

Correct me if I’m wrong but didn’t he say he knew the secret of getting out of the Championship rather than the secret of getting into the Prem?
If I’ve remembered his words correctly he certainly delivered on his promise.

Fair point, well made!

I doubted him at the time but fair play, he was true to his word.
